MLS will host a spring program called Bending Boundaries: Libraries as Publishers on Wednesday, April 16 at the DCU Center in Worcester and seeks proposals for Ignite Sessions that will be one of the day’s focuses.
How does your academic, public, school or special library respond to the challenges of digital publishing? The MA Library System seeks proposals for ten Ignite Sessions meant to raise questions and showcase individual solutions addressing libraries’ emerging roles in publishing.
Ignite sessions defined:
Presentations will focus on an aspect of libraries and publishing. Ten presenters will share 20 slides for 15 seconds each, speaking for 5 minutes in total. Be sure to include a slide describing the question or issue that you’re addressing. Presentations will be closely timed, so please practice! Please plan to participate in a networking session to follow.
